There are preachers you can listen to, preachers you can't listen to, and preachers you must listen to. At our Preaching Pre-Conference, Dr. H.B. Preaching is missional by nature, yet the practice has been muddied. At our Preaching Pre-Conference, Donny Cho walks through Acts 16, where Paul reaches a wealthy religious woman, a possessed slave girl, and a hardened Roman jailer in a single chapter. In Zulu culture there is a saying that the sun rises with news and it sets with news. The greatest need in the church, and therefore in the world, is true preaching. Every church wants deep community, but the means God gave for building it are the very ones we most neglect.
